Job summary

Arena Family of Companies in San Diego, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to support complex commercial construction projects across Life Science, Industrial, and related sectors. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, owners, architects, and trade partners to maintain pace, coordination, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has GC project experience, strong organization and communication, and is motivated to progress toward an APM or PM role.

Qualifications

• Project Engineer with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and subcontractor coordination.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, owners, architects, and trade partners.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
• Motivated to progress toward an APM or Project Manager role.
• Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree preferred.
• Must have experience in commercial, healthcare, life science, industrial, or similar complex environments.
• Multi-family and residential-only backgrounds will not be considered.
