Job summary

Green Key Resources is recruiting for Project Engineers in the Denver area with 2+ years of construction experience. You will support Project Managers and Superintendents, manage RFIs and submittals, and coordinate with subcontractors to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to read drawings and specifications, and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience required
• Experience as Project Engineer/Field Engineer/Assistant PM or similar preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills required
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day operations
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers
• Review construction drawings, plans, specs, and contracts
• Assist with schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
• Support QA/QC and ensure project requirements are met
• Participate in project meetings and follow-up items
• Monitor progress and help resolve issues
• Assist with material procurement and delivery tracking
• Support punch list, closeout, and turnover activities
• Collaborate with field teams to keep projects moving safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk, or similar software is a plus
