Your Role as a Construction Engineer

You will oversee construction activities, ensure quality, manage costs, and maintain safety and environmental standards to support infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with project team members, clients, contractors, and technical experts.
• Engage in various projects with opportunities for advancement.
• Communicate project details effectively to teams and clients.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to staff.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of industry experience, including a year in construction observation or management.
• Experience with water mains, sewer, roads, pathways, or stormwater systems is desirable.
• Ability to obtain a PE license within 3 years.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of construction practices and local, state, federal requirements.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and internet tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MDOT / LAP projects is a plus.
