Job Description

Are you passionate about construction and driven by excellence? We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects—ensuring they're completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  2. Collaborate on cost estimation, budgeting, and financial monitoring of construction projects.
  3. Oversee procurement, inventory, and vendor/subcontractor coordination to ensure timely delivery and efficient execution.
  4. Manage and maintain accurate documentation including drawings, contracts, and change orders.
  5. Lead quality control efforts and ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
  6. Serve as a liaison among stakeholders—architects, engineers, contractors, and clients—to ensure alignment and smooth project flow.
  7. Monitor risk, identify issues early, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  8. Use Procore and similar tools to track construction activity, flag bottlenecks, and ensure project timelines are met.
  9. Evaluate and coordinate change requests, considering budget and schedule impacts.
  10. Perform regular site visits to assess progress, address field concerns, and enforce safety standards.
  11. Provide leadership and strong communication across project teams.

Who You Are:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project engineering or a closely related role—preferably in commercial or industrial sectors.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Civil Structural, or Mechanical (Building Systems) Engineering is preferred.
  3. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Project is a plus.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  5. Passionate about quality, safety, and collaborative success.
  6. High school diploma required; ongoing professional development and certifications are valued.
