Job summary

Welty Energy in Fairlawn, OH is seeking a Project Coordinator/Project Engineer to support planning, design, and execution of commercial construction projects across the United States, with emphasis in NE Ohio. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage schedules and budgets to meet deadlines and cost targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and 0–2 years of PE/construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 0-2 years of PE/Construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining Project Schedule.
• Prepare and qualify Quotations for PM approval on RFPs.
• Assist PM/Superintendent with RFIs, FWDs and Bulletins.
• Support Scope of Work changes and bid evaluations.
• Use project management software and record meeting minutes.
• Maintain subcontractor lists and issue bid invitations.
• Assist in tracking bidders and assembling Scope of Work Books.
• Transmit submittals to Architects and subcontractors after Architect approval.
• Track Certified Payroll reports and file project progress photos.
• Draft memoranda and bulletins on project changes and distribute.
• Assist in creating presentation materials and Monthly Progress Reports.
