Job summary

Freestone Property Group's affiliate Metacomet Construction LLC seeks an organized Assistant Construction Project Manager (APM) to support renovation, capital improvement, and multifamily unit-turn projects across the portfolio.

You will coordinate trades, manage documentation, track milestones, and assist Project Managers with scheduling, vendor coordination, and reporting. This role offers a growth path into a Project Manager role within a fast-paced real estate construction team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in construction, project coordination, property management, or related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with renovation, capital improvement, or multifamily construction projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management software or construction documentation is preferred.
• Experience coordinating contractors or vendors is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in coordinating multiple construction and renovation projects simultaneously.
• Help schedule and sequence trades to avoid delays.
• Coordinate site access, building logistics, and vendor scheduling.
• Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintain organized project documentation including contracts, proposals, change orders, and project notes.
• Track project budgets and assist in monitoring costs against approved scopes.
• Update internal systems with project status, timelines, and key milestones.
• Assist in preparing reports and summaries for leadership.
