Job summary

Railroad Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a project administrator to produce, manage, and maintain project submittal and RFI logs, and assist in preparing deliverables such as safety and QA/QC plans.

The role supports foremen, superintendents, and project managers on site in Paterson, NJ. You will organize documents, log them properly in the document control system, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and handle correspondence like owner letters and transmittals while tracking

Responsibilities

• Produce, manage, and maintain project submittal and RFI logs
• Assist in preparing and processing project deliverables, such as safety and QA/QC plans
• Organize and distribute project documents to office staff and field personnel
• Ensure all documentation is properly logged in the project's document control database
• Plan and coordinate engineering deliverables from subcontractors and suppliers
• Communicate with internal departments, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, to ensure project matters are handled properly
• Prepare correspondence such as owner letters, RFIs, and transmittals as needed
• Track and accurately record labor hours and production quantities
• Work closely with Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers to support safe and efficient execution of our work
