Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Building & Construction team in York, PA. You will support client outreach, proposals and retention, working with local management to explore growth opportunities. Travel up to 5 days per month is required.

Responsibilities include coordinating projects, maintaining client relationships, pursuing new business, and engaging with industry associations to grow Intertek’s regional presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of Commercial Construction experience.
• Ability to learn building envelope and related systems and installation methods.
• Aptitude for working independently on assigned projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and co-workers.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with clients, designers and contractors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office & Outlook.
• Willingness to assist and train on field projects and travel up to 25%+.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality proposals and detailed scopes of work tailored to client requests.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients and exceed their needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Engage with local industry associations to stay informed on trends and expand Intertek’s presence.
• Oversee project coordination including planning, scheduling and execution with clear, professional communication.
