Job summary

Cotton is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager in Katy, TX to support planning and execution of restoration and construction projects. This full-time, hourly position reports to the Project Manager and requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma.

You’ll coordinate day-to-day operations, prepare daily reports, ensure documentation, lead safety meetings, and liaise with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in logistics or construction preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office for reports and documentation.
• Knowledge of OSHA or similar safety standards.
• Ability to travel for extended periods on short notice.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of the project, covering performance, administration, documentation, and customer communication.
• Maintain daily contact with the Project Manager to ensure progress.
• Write daily reports and maintain organized job files.
• Ensure job files include signed contracts and documentation.
• Submit completed files promptly to support timely processing by accounting.
• Lead Safety Toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with all project safety requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials and supplies are delivered to job sites as needed.
• Maintain high service quality and uphold Cotton brand image; assist with customer issue resolution.
