Job summary

Cotton is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support and coordinate commercial reconstruction projects in Atlanta. You will assist in managing timelines, budgets, and client communications, while ensuring safety compliance and accurate documentation on site.

The role requires hands-on coordination with project managers, operations teams, and subcontractors, with travel as needed, and a drive for high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial reconstruction project knowledge - REQUIRED
• Knowledge MEP's (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (Preferred)
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings (Preferred)
• Travel extensively as business needs arise (REQUIRED)
• Must have a good driving record, be at least 21 years old, and three years of verifiable driving experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and performance to ensure successful completion.
• Maintain effective client communication and provide updates to Project Managers.
• Adhere to safety policies and assist in Site Safety Plans and toolbox meetings.
• Provide administrative support: pull permits, paperwork, and documentation.
• Source and hire subcontractors and vendors to meet project needs while maintaining quality.
• Provide onsite leadership to field supervisors and labor teams and resolve conflicts.
