Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator in Bloomington, MN to deliver project management and general accounting support for large, complex projects.

You'll build collaborative team processes, prepare subcontracts and change orders, and assist the accounting team with subcontractor documents and monthly draws. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely reporting within a regulated, multi-project environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of A/E/C office experience or related post-secondary construction education program.
• Knowledge of construction terminology preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and the ability to learn other software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
• Provide support to the project team to ensure timely and quality results.
• Prepare subcontracts and/or project work authorizations, including riders and certified payroll information.
• Maintain and distribute contact and subcontractor lists and manage document compliance.
• File and record purchase agreements, owner/subcontractor change orders, and project records.
• Manage subcontractor document compliance including document tracking, holds and payment.
• Assist in submittal of trade contractor invoices and initiate monthly draws in Textura.
• Perform quality review checks of monthly owner payment applications.
