Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is assisting a well-established specialty contractor in Marietta, GA, to hire a Construction Project Coordinator responsible for project billing, contract management, and new job setup in the project management system to ensure accurate and timely execution of construction projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, strong Excel and Word skills, and excellent organizational abilities to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project coordination, billing, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with construction project management software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely project invoices to clients.
• Ensure billing documentation is complete, including change orders and additional billable items.
• Collaborate with accounting to resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client invoice inquiries.
• Assist in review and management of project contracts and maintain organized contract records.
• Track contract milestones and deadlines to support progress and payment schedules.
• Create and set up new construction projects in the project management system.
• Input project details, budget information, and milestones; coordinate with project managers.
• Provide administrative support to project managers and construction teams; assist in reports and documentation.
• Help maintain organized project files and records; assist AP/AR tasks.
