Job summary

Midnight Sun Global Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Construction) to support planning, coordination, and execution of federal construction projects. You will work with experienced PMs on documentation, scheduling, estimating, subcontractor coordination, and client communications to drive project success.

This full-time on-site role requires strong organizational skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in project coordination, construction, facilities, engineering, or a related industry preferred.
• Experience supporting construction, facilities, federal, or military projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn project management, estimating, scheduling, document management, and other construction-related software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Prepare project reports, meeting notes, and correspondence.
• Assist with project estimating and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Help monitor project schedules to ensure milestones are achieved.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Track project changes, submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain accurate project files and records.
• Support quality control and safety compliance efforts.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project stakeholders, and team members.
