Job summary

Reyes Enterprise & Co. is seeking a seasoned Construction Estimator to coordinate high-end residential interior renovations in NYC.

You will translate client visions into precise cost estimates, manage subcontractor coordination, and oversee documentation from pre-construction through closeout. This role offers a base salary of $75,000–$85,000 per year, plus a year-end bonus, weekly pay, medical and retirement benefits, and a vehicle mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in NYC high-end residential construction and interior renovation.
• High proficiency with AutoCAD and standard digital takeoff tools.
• Advanced expertise in construction estimating programs and software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of practical interior construction methods, COIs, and CMA contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-scope conceptual and pre-construction estimates by gathering sub-bid pricing.
• Analyze complex construction documents, blueprints, and specifications to establish accurate project scope.
• Produce precise construction takeoffs and conduct continuous actual vs. estimated cost analysis.
• Manage workflow documentation including RFIs, change orders, work orders, subcontracts, and permits.
• Schedule and facilitate site walkthroughs, meetings, and timelines with clients and building managers.
• Maintain vital communications with subcontractors, vendors, and management teams to meet critical deadlines.
• Organize and archive comprehensive project closeout packages, client databases, and digital files.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Hands‑on experience using Xactimate or XACT Remodel software.
• Valid Driver's License and flexibility for local NYC job‑site visits.
• Proven track record of managing subcontractor relationships and bid solicitation in NYC.
