Job summary

Chapter is seeking a Renovation Project Manager in New York City to lead residential renovation projects. You will manage all aspects from pre-construction to project closeout, ensuring coordinated efforts across clients, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in construction management with strong skills in communication, organization, and project execution, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Overview

Chapter is hiring a Renovation Project Manager to lead projects end-to-end across field and office operations.

This role sits at the center of execution - coordinating clients, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining control over schedule, cost, and quality.

You will be mentored by the Head of Construction and expected to operate with increasing autonomy.

What You’ll Own

• Full lifecycle management of renovation projects (pre-construction - closeout)
• Client communication and expectation management
• Estimating, budgeting, and material takeoffs
• Scheduling and day-to-day site coordination
• RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Vendor coordination, pricing tracking, and procurement support
• Sample tracking and approvals
• Leading weekly project meetings and internal updates

• You communicate clearly - with clients, subs, and internal teams
• You stay organized under pressure and don't lose control of details
• You understand NYC construction constraints (permits, logistics, timelines)

Qualifications
