Job summary

ACM is seeking a on-site Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to help keep commercial construction projects moving. You will support project managers with execution, coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams.

The role includes tracking RFIs, submittals, and project documentation, assisting with document control and tracking systems, monitoring schedules, milestones, and budget, and attending meetings to follow up on action items.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience in roles like Project Engineer or Assistant PM.
• Experience with a General Contractor (GC) on large commercial projects preferred.
• Familiar with RFIs, submittals, and construction document management.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with the execution of construction projects.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Assist with document control and project tracking systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
• Help monitor project schedules and track key milestones.
• Assist with budget tracking and project reporting.
• Attend project meetings and follow up on action items.
• Learn company processes, systems, and project management tools.
