This role emphasizes collaboration with operations and corporate finance, driving accuracy in cost reports and forecasts.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, experience with project accounting, and the ability to manage complex requisitions, change orders, and insurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and reliable output.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurized team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Project Accounting & Administration
• Compile owner requisitions
• Resolve internal audit findings
• Process subcontractor requisitions and AP
• Monitor materials inventory and equipment
• Manage field payroll
• Assist with project setup, closeout, and owner contract readiness
• Oversee lien waivers and insurance administration
• Track Small Business participation and reporting
• Support monthly project financial forecasting and cost reporting
• Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements
• Forecast cash-flow and manage change orders
• Lead contract administration activities and approvals
• Ensure subcontractor insurance coverage and permits
• Coordinate project meetings and develop team members
• Prepare monthly status reports and close-out documentation
• Develop relationships with owners, engineers and designers
