Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Intern/Co-Op in Cincinnati to gain hands-on experience in construction management, safety protocols, and project coordination on an active site.

You will work under supervision with Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Managers, documenting progress, preparing reports, and applying classroom knowledge to real-world tasks while earning educational credit where applicable.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited degree program or co-op; minimum 1 year completed
• Must be 18 years of age to work on a construction site
• Desire to work in construction management and learn about the industry
• Commitment to standard business hours and overtime as required
• Demonstrate interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Work on active construction site or main office to support learning
• Assist with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and document control
• Provide progress reports to supervision and learn construction management concepts
• Relate academic knowledge to real project activities and maintain professional relationships
• Participate in training, meetings, and safety orientation
• Assist with shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and contract information distribution
• Support coordination with trades and subcontractors and monitor safety compliance
