Job summary

Collaborative Construction Inc. in Los Angeles area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Part Time) to support the Project Manager across multiple sites, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of high-end remodels and new construction.

You will help with budgets, schedules, document control, and coordination with clients, architects, and subcontractors. This role offers part-time hours with potential to grow into full-time based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of residential construction.
• Experience in general contracting or related trade preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, perform take-offs and builder's math.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative approach and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to commute daily to locations throughout Los Angeles.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day field operations and project administration across multiple job sites.
• Help maintain organized schedules, budgets, logs and reports.
• Coordinate RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and project correspondence.
• Assist subcontractor oversight and meetings; ensure safety and quality.
• Review plans, specs, and material lists to understand requirements.
• Travel between job sites as projects run.
• Assist with inspections and close-out materials.
