Job summary

FH Construction Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support teams from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate documentation, manage submittals and RFIs, and help drive financial performance and project efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Proven ability to manage relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating documentation and submittals.
• Assist in managing budgets, schedules, and project communications.
• Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders and align expectations and progress.
• Collaborate with design teams, owners, vendors, and partners for seamless delivery.
• Identify issues early and drive effective solutions with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Build strong client and partner relationships and participate in meetings with clear follow-ups.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and execution through pre-task planning and oversight of field operations.
• Support cost control processes including billings, cashflow, and change management.
• Help organize and distribute project documents (RFIs, submittals, specs, addenda, closeout).
• Mentor and support project team members and foster innovation and growth.
