Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Project Assistant to join our team in Roswell, Georgia. In this role, you will provide administrative and project support by managing project documentation, maintaining client records, distributing reports, and assisting with invoice processing and project setup activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer proficient, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You will work closely with engineers, technicians, clients, and project managers to ensure efficient communication, document control, and project organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to quickly learn new software and processes are essential for success in this position. Prior office administration experience, basic accounting knowledge, and familiarity with testing software.

Core Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will have the basic knowledge of accounting.
  • This individual must be hard-working, prompt, responsible, and an efficient time manager.
  • Must be able to be computer proficient using Word, Excel, etc.
  • Distribute all outgoing reports to clients and Engineers.
  • Proofreading and revising inspection and testing reports.
  • Utilizing lab software to enter lab testing data and generate reports for clients.
  • Managing up-to-date client information and records.
  • Maintaining general office organization and proper e-filing systems.
  • Assist clients with requests for information and records.
  • Processing credit card payments from clients.
  • Keeping up-to-date email contact lists and information for Construction Materials Testing (CMT) projects.
  • Compiling comprehensive packets of reports and project records for clients.
  • Setting up new CMT projects in multiple systems.
  • Assist with drafts, revision, and delivery of invoices.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assist engineers and techs with general project organization and information.
  • Answering the phone and directing calls.

  • Knowledge of testing software such as GeoSys or MetaField is a plus
