Job summary

CFS is seeking a Lead Project Accountant in Minnetonka, MN, to guide the project accounting team and act as a strategic partner to Project Managers and the Finance group. The role is hands-on with construction billing, job cost accounting, WIP, POC revenue recognition, AP, and month-end activities, while driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate will standardize workflows across projects, enhance reporting accuracy, and lead ERP-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing a small accounting team.
• Hands-on construction billing, job costing, and WIP.
• Experience with POC revenue recognition and month-end close.
• Strong Excel and ERP reporting skills.
