Job summary

CFS, a long‑standing construction firm, seeks a Project Accountant to collaborate with leadership, Project Managers and multiple teams across the US. The role offers strong promotion tracks and comprehensive benefits as the company continues growth.

The candidate will handle invoicing, pay estimates and payroll analysis, while supporting cash management and compliance efforts, contributing to the firm’s continued success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 1+ years of Accounting, AR, and/or billing experience.
• Advanced Excel and experience working with large, complex data sets.
• Strong technology, systems skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing, lien waivers, pay estimates, payroll analysis, transportation data and ad hoc reports per contract details.
• Review and analyze billing reports to ensure timely receipt of receivables due.
• Analyze pay estimates throughout project cycles.
• Assist AP team on subcontractor and supplier payments per contract terms.
• Assist with cash management reporting.
• Function as the main point of contact for documents required for subcontractors, suppliers, corporate, Project Managers and for compliance.
