Job summary

Eastern Commercial, the construction accounting arm of Eastern Companies, seeks a meticulous Construction Project Accountant to support financials and administration across projects. You will maintain accurate records, manage cost tracking, and ensure timely invoicing and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with Procore or similar systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting, project accounting, or construction administration experience.
• Experience in construction, contracting, or project-based environments preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with Procore, Acumatica, or similar construction/project accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance with contracts and budgets.
• Code and reconcile project expenses, invoices, and credit card transactions.
• Assist with project cost tracking, budget monitoring, and budget-to-actual reporting.
