Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services, LLC is seeking a mid-level Project Accountant II to support project accounting and forecasting for small to mid-sized jobs. The role involves coordinating with project teams, management, clients, and subcontractors, with travel to project sites as needed and primarily office-based work.

The candidate will bring strong Excel/Word skills, familiarity with construction processes, and the ability to learn construction payment management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in project accounting or a related role.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manages contracts, amendments, insurance, bonds, SOV, files and co-policies.
• Reviews requisitions and lien waivers for timeliness and accuracy.
• Sets up and formats project financial forecasts for internal/client reporting.
• Leads monthly forecast meetings and maintains ETCs for labor/expenses.
• Oversees accounts receivable/payables and project financial closeout.
• Builds positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Assists with contract abstracts and audits as needed.
• Reviews WIP and explains variances and balances.
