CFS in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Project Accountant to support multiple construction and infrastructure projects, partnering with Project Managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate financials.

Responsibilities include managing project billing, tracking costs and variances, and assisting with month-end close. This role offers stability, growth, and a modern office environment with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project accounting experience (construction or infrastructure preferred).
• Experience with AIA billing (G702/G703) and public sector compliance (IDOT, CDOT a plus).
• Strong understanding of job cost accounting and project financials.

Responsibilities

• Manage project billing including AIA G702/G703 and compliance documentation
• Track project costs, budgets, and percent complete
• Partner with Project Managers to monitor financial performance and variances
• Support subcontractor billing, documentation, and contract compliance
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and project reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely financial tracking across multiple active projects
