Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking an experienced project accountant to support construction operations with accurate financial data. You will assist project managers with cost projections, maintain project financial records, and ensure compliance with risk management practices.

Responsibilities include processing financial transactions, reconciling costs, and coordinating with project owners and trade contractors.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Two (2) or more years of accounting/project accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Detailed knowledge of project contracts and change order documents.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and industry terminology.
• Three (3) years of experience in project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support construction operations with accurate financial data and project cost projections.
• Ensure compliance with risk management practices and maintain project financial records for auditors.
• Serve as a primary contact with trade contractors and provide payment and contract information.
