Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support construction and specialty contracting entities in Orlando, FL. This full-time role focuses on project cost accounting, field data reconciliation, and cash-flow forecasting across multiple entities, collaborating with project managers and leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3–5 years in construction accounting, and strong experience with Sage Intacct and Excel.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 3–5 years in construction accounting or similar.
• Technical: Sage Intacct or similar ERP with mobile data integration (MobiWork).
• Excel proficiency and advanced data handling.
• GAAP knowledge, WIP management, and intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities

• Project Cost Accounting & Budgeting with Project Managers.
• Field data reconciliation and ERP integration (Sage Intacct).
• Cash flow management and rolling forecasts across entities.
• Month-end closes, balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries.
• AP/AR/Intercompany transactions oversight.
• Audit & tax compliance coordination.
