Job summary

Construction & Realty Services Group (CRSG) is a Manhattan-based construction management firm providing administrative services to B2B clients across payroll, billing, accounts payable, analysis, marketing, and IT. You will join a dedicated team supporting operations and project finance in multiple offices.

The role centers on accurate project accounting, job costing, budgeting, and timely financial reporting, collaborating with project managers and field staff to ensure project profitability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in construction accounting software (Sage 300 CRE, Procore, QuickBooks, Viewpoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting: job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Monitor project budgets and expenses, identify variances, and suggest corrective actions.
• Process construction-related accounts payable and receivable.
• Track subcontractor and vendor payments, lien releases, and contract compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and project status reports.
• Document change orders, purchase orders, and billing accurately.
• Collaborate with PMs and field staff to reconcile budgets and expenses.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
