Job summary

Responsibilities include processing payables/receivables for construction projects, tracking subcontractor payments, and assisting with monthly financial statements and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in construction accounting software such as Sage 300 CRE, Procore, QuickBooks, or Viewpoint.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, billing cycles, and project financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting activities including job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Process accounts payable and receivable specific to construction projects.
• Track subcontractor and vendor payments, lien releases, and contract compliance.
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and project status reports.
• Ensure proper documentation of change orders, purchase orders, and billing.
• Collaborate with project managers and field staff to reconcile budgets and expenses.
• Support audits and compliance with internal and external financial regulations.
