Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a Project Accountant for a well established commercial general contractor in the DFW area. This role is hands-on and partner-facing, owning progress billing, cost tracking, and the financial administration that keeps active projects moving, working side by side with project managers and subcontractors.

You will work closely with project managers and subcontractors to prepare AIA G702/G703 billing, manage lien waivers, handle AP/AR, track budgets, prepare

Qualifications

• 6+ years of combined construction and accounting experience.
• 2+ years of project accounting experience.
• Hands on AIA billing, G702/G703, and lien waiver experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process AIA G702/G703 progress billing and pay applications
• Manage lien waivers and subcontractor compliance
• Handle AP/AR invoices and payment coordination with trade partners
• Track project budgets, costs, commitments, and billings
• Prepare monthly cost reports and perform account reconciliations
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and trade partners
