Job summary

RealREPP is collaborating with a recognized construction firm in Temple, Texas, to hire a Project Accountant. This role involves coordinating job costing, ensuring financial integrity, and supporting the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with strong analytical skills and 3–5 years of project accounting experience in construction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project accounting experience preferred, ideally within construction.
• Strong accounting knowledge with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including intermediate-to-expert ability in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Compile, prepare, and analyze monthly project billings in accordance with contract requirements.
• Perform financial analysis and reconcile project costs versus the approved project budget.
• Produce and analyze job-cost tracking reports to monitor project performance and profitability.
• Manage vendor compliance including insurance, lien waivers, retention, and W-9 documentation.
