Job summary

Enterprise Solutions, a leading Southeast electrical contractor, seeks a Project Accountant to bring order to complex multimillion-dollar projects. You’ll work with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance from startup through closeout, driving accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

You will handle project billing, cost control, and financial reporting using Excel and Power BI, while supporting ERP improvements as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience (construction or project accounting preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP or accounting software and project costing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer billings, including various billing methods.
• Maintain schedules of values (SOVs), billing docs, and contract records.
• Support project startup, change orders, and financial closeout.
• Partner with Project Managers to meet billing milestones and contract requirements.
• Review invoices for accuracy and proper coding of project costs.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving docs; support cost reporting.
• Assist with reconciliations, variance analysis, and dashboard reporting via Excel/Power BI.
