Job summary

RPM xConstruction LLC is a Texas-based design and construction company seeking a dedicated accounting/billing professional to manage 100+ projects, ensure accurate invoicing, and liaise with clients and subcontractors. The role emphasizes AIA billing, lien waivers, and TXDOT project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction accounting and billing.
• Proficient in AIA billing documentation, lien waivers, and Texas Lien Law processes.
• Experience with commercial and TXDOT projects preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Viewpoint or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with GC Pay billing software at both general contractor and subcontractor levels.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project by accounting for 100+ projects at a time.
• Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to Project Managers.
• Generate invoices from General Contractors on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and last business day, as well as on other days scheduled by contract.
• Conference with clients regarding unpaid contract billings and responds to client questions in a timely manner.
• Provides weekly updates of the status of past due customer accounts and action plans to address issues.
• Reports to management on any opportunities for additional billings and remaining funds available for projects.
• Investigates all project expenses not billed to customers.
• Works with Project Managers and Subcontractors to ensure timely billings.
• Compiles information for internal and external auditors, as required.
• Build and maintain relationships with key departments and Company affiliates to ensure cooperation and teamwork.

Duties and Responsibilities
