Job summary

NLG is seeking a seasoned Group Manager to supervise multiple construction projects and PM teams, ensuring safe delivery on time and within budget. The role requires deep experience in commercial and institutional construction and a track record of leading diverse project groups.

Ideal candidates bring strong budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and BI tool expertise, with a history of collaborating with operations and executive leadership to achieve project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of construction project or program management experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading multiple projects and project teams.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and operational planning.
• Experience using project management and business intelligence tools to drive performance.
• Commercial and institutional construction experience required (K-12, higher education, municipal, healthcare, or similar projects preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple project teams to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and oversee project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Mentor and support Project Managers while promoting accountability and operational excellence.
• Monitor project financial performance, productivity, and key performance metrics.
• Partner with operations, field leadership, and executive management to ensure project success.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and overall project delivery.
• Foster strong client relationships and support business growth initiatives.
