Job summary

MLG Construction Management Service is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead designated construction projects from planning through close-out, coordinating clients, design teams, and vendors to meet time and budget goals.

You will manage the project team, develop schedules and budgets, review contracts, track progress, and report status weekly to stakeholders, ensuring quality and compliance throughout all phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture required.
• 5+ years in construction management or related field required.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, and visual), and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement checklists for due diligence and site feasibility analysis.
• Approve drafts of master project schedules and development budgets; track expenses and milestones.
• Review technical aspects with design consultants and track value engineering elements.
• Review and approve all contract documents with design professionals, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond to RFIs and change orders; maintain records of written correspondence.
• Review invoices to ensure costs stay within budget and contract amount.
• Implement regular meetings with the development team; monitor progress toward milestones.
• Prepare weekly status reports on schedule, budget, and key concerns.
• Oversee final punch list and coordinate project close-out with the development team.
