Job summary

Maddox Industrial Group (MIG) is seeking a full-time Procurement Assistant in Indianapolis, IN. The successful candidate will support the procurement team by managing purchases, preparing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project needs.

Responsibilities include sourcing materials for construction, maintaining vendor compliance, and assisting in procurement reporting. A degree in Business or a related field and experience in procurement are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing materials and equipment for construction projects.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and purchase orders.
• Track orders to ensure on-time delivery.

Skills

Basic understanding of purchasing processes

Strong organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Good communication skills

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

1–3 years of procurement or administrative support experience
