Job summary

Frontline Wildfire Defense seeks a Construction Project Manager in California to oversee end-to-end installation of wildfire defense systems. You will ensure high-quality execution, stay within budget and timelines, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This high-impact role requires 5+ years in construction project management, the ability to manage multiple projects, travel across California, and a strong focus on communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management (residential or fire protection systems).
• Strong understanding of residential construction, permitting, and fire safety regulations.
• Experience managing contractors, architects, and local inspectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
• Ability to work remotely and travel across California.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all system installations within time, scope, and budget.
• Develop efficient processes for supply chain, inventory management, job costing, and installation.
• Oversee material procurement and tracking to ensure timely deliveries and proper inventory.
• Collaborate with inspectors, building officials, and fire departments for compliance.
• Serve as the primary contact for homeowners, contractors, architects, and builders.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers during installation and maintenance.
• Work with sales and business development in site visits and scoping.
• Recruit, train, and manage installation team members.
