Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor's degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Previous Internship or Co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Estimating proposals by describing project scope and assigning values.
• Scheduling a timeline for subcontractors to meet project deadlines.
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand structural design.
• Issue bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors; evaluate proposals.
• Fill out and submit permit forms to city/county/fire departments for approvals.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; coordinate with PM and subcontractors.
• Process subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications.
• Visit job site with PM to ensure project runs smoothly.
