Job summary

Standard Communities is seeking a Project Manager, Construction to support the new construction team on affordable multifamily housing projects. You will review design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with company guidelines and conduct site visits to monitor progress.

This role entails coordinating with internal development staff, design consultants, general contractors, and stakeholders to maintain schedule, budget, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple affordable multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Review design packages and drawings to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
• Assist in reviewing GC’s estimates to avoid scope gaps and optimize cost.
• Attend design meetings and coordinate requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct AHJ and utility coordination, including phasing plans and inspection timelines.
• Perform regular site visits to monitor milestones and document progress.
• Track schedules and budgets, addressing delays or risks with stakeholders.
• Review and approve payment applications, change orders, and cost reports.
