Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Mid South is seeking a licensed Journeyman Leadman for commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. You will supervise journeyman and apprentice crews, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HVAC/plumbing, a valid Journeyman license, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and communicate with project managers. MedGas experience is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise journeyman and apprentice team members on job sites.

• Perform installations, modifications, and preventive maintenance as needed.

Position Description

CSUSA Mid South is currently seeking a licensed, highly skilled, motivated, and safety-oriented Journeyman Leadman. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC or plumbing within commercial construction. The Journeyman Leadman will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of tradespeople, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with project managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman license in plumbing or HVAC
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction projects
• Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor team members
• Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and at various heights
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Experience in Medical Gas (MedGas) installation is ideal
