Job summary

Sumerixa is seeking a planner to take a vertical construction project and build the CPM schedule using Primavera P6, collaborating with project managers and superintendents on schedules detailed enough to direct work.

You will explore merging 3D models with schedules, pull planning with CPM logic, and produce linear schedules, with travel to regional sites weekly and potential PSP certification path within six months.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction mgmt or related.
• Experience preparing CPM schedules for vertical construction projects.
• Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 and ability to manage multiple schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop construction schedules with project managers and superintendents.
• Support proposal and preconstruction schedules.
• Use historical data to build activity durations and validate progress.
• Monitor and analyze schedules with 2,500–5,000 activities.
• Update, analyze and report weekly on-site progress.
• Reconcile actual vs planned progress and propose actions.
• Develop visual and linear schedules to show production sequences.
• Analyze repetitive workflows for realistic cycle times.
• Write concise monthly schedule narratives and KPIs for exec reporting.
