Job summary

P&E Constructors, LLC is seeking a Scheduler to develop and monitor CPM schedules for industrial mechanical and electrical projects across U.S. offices. You will work with project managers, superintendents, and procurement to translate scope into practical schedules using Primavera P6 and Excel.

The role requires 4+ years in construction scheduling, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and travel as needed. Remote work is supported, with travel up to 25% for project needs.

Qualifications

• This role requires a degree in construction-related field and 4+ years of scheduling experience.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Excel is essential.
• Strong ability to develop, update, and communicate CPM schedules and look-aheads.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain CPM project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Support baseline schedule development and incorporate project milestones.
• Maintain logic and sequencing reflecting construction means and methods.
• Monitor critical path, float, and near-critical activities to identify delays.
• Perform routine schedule updates with actuals and progress data.
• Coordinate with field supervision to gather progress and inputs.
• Prepare standard schedule reports and look-ahead plans.
• Assist with resource loading, manpower projections, and progress reporting.
• Track variances and communicate risks to project leadership.
• Support recovery schedules and incorporate changes into the schedule.
• Coordinate with procurement and project personnel on long-lead items.
• Contribute to schedule narratives and progress summaries.
• Assist with time-impact analyses and change-order scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with scheduling standards and documentation procedures.
• Support project close-out with final schedule updates and as-builts.
