Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a physically capable helper to support pipefitters on active construction sites in the United States. The role involves measuring, cutting, threading and assembling pipe, installing hangers and supports, and assisting with layout and installation of piping for air, ammonia, gas, and water systems.

You must be able to lift up to 50–100 lbs, work outdoors, and wear PPE. A drug-free workplace and strict safety policies apply across Clark Construction Group

Qualifications

• Experience with measuring and cutting pipe.
• Ability to install pipes in hangers or supports.
• Assist with layout, assembly and installation of piping for air, ammonia, gas and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Measures, cuts, threads and assembles new pipe, placing the assembled pipe in hangers or other supports.
• Cuts or drills holes to accommodate pipes.
• Performs rough-ins, repairs and replaces fixtures and water heaters and locates, repairs, or removes leaking or broken pipes.
• Assists pipe fitters in layout, assembly and installation of piping for air, ammonia, gas, and water systems.
• Mounts brackets and hangers on walls and ceilings to hold pipes.
