Qualifications

• At least three years of payroll processing experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll reconciliation, internal controls, payroll taxes, and wage and hour requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with employee information.
• Ability to organize competing priorities and meet weekly processing deadlines.
• Clear communication and collaboration with HR, accounting, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly payroll from timecard review through final processing.
• Review data from multiple timekeeping platforms and resolve inconsistencies.
• Apply pay rates including union and certified payroll rates for project reporting.
• Reconcile attendance, leave, and payroll adjustments with Payroll Manager.
• Maintain accurate payroll information for onboarding, separations, deposits, and tax elections.
• Prepare off-cycle and final paychecks per deadlines.
• Complete certified payroll submissions and union reports and related tax filings.
• Assist with apprenticeship documentation and certified payroll reporting for Inflation Reduction Act projects.
• Provide payroll reports to management and maintain confidential records.
