Superior Bowen Asphalt Company, LLC seeks a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate weekly payroll, prevailing-wage compliance, and multi-entity processing across construction entities. You will collaborate with field operations and HR to deliver on-time pay in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include processing weekly payroll in Vista by Viewpoint, managing certified payroll (WH-347), and reconciling payroll data against control totals, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing in construction or multi-entity environments.
• Working knowledge of certified payroll and Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage.
• Experience with Vista by Viewpoint or comparable ERP is a plus; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for multiple operating entities in the ERP (Vista by Viewpoint).
• Import, validate, and correct time data; verify hours, jobs, and phases against control totals and resolve exceptions before each pay run is finalized.
• Enter and maintain earnings, deductions, stipends, garnishments, benefit elections, and shift differentials with a high degree of accuracy.
• Support the weekly pay date cadence and process off-cycle, manual, and correction checks as needed.
• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports (WH-347 and state equivalents) for Davis-Bacon and state prevailing-wage projects on required deadlines.
• Apply wage determinations, fringe-benefit rates, and worker classifications by project and jurisdiction.
