Qualifications

• HS diploma required; Associate/Bachelor in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• 2 years payroll experience in construction with prevailing wage/certified payroll.
• Knowledge of Davis‑Bacon, garnishments, 401(k), and multi‑state payroll.
• Proficient in construction payroll systems; strong Excel skills.
• High accuracy, confidentiality, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing weekly payroll, time tracking, deductions, per diem/travel reimbursements, direct deposit uploads, quarterly/year-end tax filings, W‑2s, ACA, temp labor reporting, union benefit submissions.
• Prepare/submit certified payroll (LCPtracker/eMars) and ensure Davis‑Bacon and prevailing wage compliance.
• Administer benefits and deductions including 401(k), garnishments, health/dental, and PTO tracking.
• Support internal and external audits and compliance reporting; resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Serve as primary contact for payroll inquiries and coordinate with project managers and accounting.
