Tiello LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Compliance Specialist to support payroll administration, labor compliance, and workforce reporting across multiple projects and divisions. This fully on-site role will work with accounting, operations, and field teams to ensure accurate payroll and adherence to prevailing wage requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll administration experience.
• Experience processing union payroll and prevailing wage payroll.
• Understanding of certified payroll reporting and labor compliance requirements.
• Experience in construction, mechanical contracting, or project-based industries.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees.
• Administer prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with union agreements, wage determinations, and labor regulations.
• Maintain payroll records, employee files, and compliance documentation.
• Audit payroll data for hours, deductions, fringes, and labor allocations.
• Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to verify payroll info.
• Support onboarding documentation and workforce reporting requirements.
• Assist with audits and labor compliance reviews.
• Track union benefits, dues, contributions, and reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll and compliance processes.
