Job summary

Haren Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to support weekly payroll, review timecards, and coordinate with field supervisors in Etowah, TN. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with Payroll, Accounting, and HR teams.

The ideal candidate has project-based payroll experience, knowledge of SAGE 300 is preferred, and excellent communication skills to handle inquiries and maintain payroll compliance during busy pay periods.

Qualifications

• At least one year of payroll experience in a project-based environment.
• Construction industry payroll experience highly preferred; temporary staffing agency payroll experience will be considered.
• SAGE 300 experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly payroll processing, including reviewing timecards and hours.
• Coordinate with superintendents and leaders about time worked.
• Enter holiday pay, audit vacation time and overtime, and input bonuses.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, respond to state unemployment inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with Payroll, Accounting, and HR teams.
