Job summary

Pike Industries, a CRH Company, is offering a Construction/Road Intern position during the summer. You will rotate through paving and construction teams, gaining hands-on experience in installation, project management, and quality control while collaborating on real-world projects.

You will work with experienced professionals, receive mentorship, and have the opportunity to travel to locations in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, with competitive pay and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a college degree program.
• Able to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments, both independently and in a team setting.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including nights or weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Paving Installation: Assist with asphalt installation processes from layout to completion; assess safety hazards and costs.
• Construction Operations: Learn project planning, subcontractor coordination, equipment management, and safety measures.
• Support Tasks: Aid with manual labor, hand tools, directing traffic at sites, and possibly operating equipment.
